Step into a new dimension of surfskating with the “Bigfoot”—a groundbreaking 50” longboard surfskate deck that transforms the essence of land surfing.
While most traditional surfskates confine you to a single stance, the Bigfoot’s expansive platform invites you to dance across its length, seamlessly flowing between cross-steps like a surfer gliding on an endless wave.
This isn’t just another surfskate deck—it’s a fusion of longboard flow and surfskate dynamics that opens up entirely new possibilities for creative expression. Whether you’re carving deep turns, hanging ten on the broad nose, or finding your flow through fluid footwork combinations, the Bigfoot delivers a riding experience that’s both familiar and thrillingly new. Welcome to the evolution of surfskating…
Wide at the Axles for More Control & Easier Cross-Stepping
After much experimentation, I’ve discovered that longboard decks feel and perform best when they are wide at the axles.
Longboards that are narrow at the axles are more prone to sliding, and therefore give you less control.
The other benefit of going wide at the axles is that it makes for a more uniform width along the full length of the deck.
This makes cross-stepping much easier than on decks with varying widths along the length, such as pintails.
The other benefit of going wide at the axles is that it makes for a more uniform width along the full length of the deck.
This makes cross-stepping much easier than on decks with varying widths along the length, such as pintails.
Broad Nose for Hanging Ten
The broad, square nose enables you to “hang ten” much easier than on decks with narrower noses.
Concave for Ease of Rail-to-Rail Transfer
Most longboard decks are flat with no concave. I developed my own molds with 1 cm of concave on the Bigfoot.
This makes the rail-to-rail transfer smoother and more effortless when pumping.
Perfectly Balanced Wheelbase for Ideal Pumping Feel
The wheelbase specifications were also determined by much experimentation. The front bolt holes are 4” from the nose, and the rear bolt holes are 7” from the tail.
These measurements make for the perfect wheelbase balance. If the wheelbase is any wider, it is harder to pump. If it is any narrower, you lose the ability to stand on either the front or rear, which means you lose space for cross-stepping.
Extra Large Wheelwells to Prevent Wheelbite on All Surfskate Trucks
The extra large wheelwells were developed by testing for wheelbite on all surfskate trucks.
You can use any surfskate truck on the Bigfoot with no concern of wheelbite on up to 70mm wheels.
The other benefit of the large wheelwells is that it reduces the weight.
Straight Tail for Easier Storage
Many longboard tails are curved and don’t allow to do this.

This Bigfoot is amazing! It’s rare that I instantly love a new board first ride, like I did with this. It rides so good and now my favorite board in my quiver! I have mine setup with Carver Trucks and Surfskate love 70mm 78a wheels. It’s crazy how nimble this 50″ deck is and turns very sharp for how long it is, yet so much room to move around. Love the length and width, especially the nice wide nose. The design and shape of this board is extremely well thought out. Love it!!

I JUST got all the components to set up my Bigfoot, and then spent most of the afternoon out riding it. SO MUCH FUN!!! After riding smaller boards for the last few years, getting out on this thing was a whole new experience, and I had a BLAST!! Prior to this, my Surfskate Love Soulbourdiy was my favorite deck (and I still love it), but the Bigfoot just gives a completely different feel. I LOVE THIS BOARD!! For reference, I took Steve’s advice as his favorite setup being the Waterborne Surf Adapter with the 78a durometer 70mm wheels. I’m excited to try it with some other setups, but I am VERY much enjoying this one!

The Bigfoot is AMAZING!!! I was pretty excited when Steve started posting videos of his surf skate adaptations of long decks, but those decks were lacking a key feature I desired – concave! The Bigfoot has perfect concave and it feels so good! The deck length, width, and stability opens up movement and cross stepping on the board as well as very stable cruising at higher speeds. Mine is currently set up with Carver CX trucks and Surfskate Love 70 mm 78A wheels. The board is so maneuverable and I love the feel of riding and pumping it from the fwd, mid, and back. The round nose is fun for hanging ten and the flat tail lets me store it standing up in the garage. I love the clear grip. It feels so good! The length of the Bigfoot opened my eyes to how fun these long decks are and I’m hooked! Bring on more big fatty decks, Steve!!

I wanted to share my experience with the Bigfoot from a surfer’s perspective. As someone who primarily rides logs and mid-lengths, I’ve always preferred longer boards over shorter ones. There’s something addictive about burying a long rail or locking in a good noseride!
Years ago, I started experimenting with surfskates, but it wasn’t until more recently that I really got serious about refining my technique. I’ve ridden all kinds of shapes and sizes, but I naturally gravitated toward longer Carver setups because they best replicated the feeling of surfing on land.
Stepping onto the Bigfoot, I immediately noticed the difference. It didn’t feel like a surfskate at all—it felt like riding a 10’ single-fin log. Everything changed: the way it turned, the way walking the nose felt. It made me think more critically about positioning and weight distribution. I had to be intentional about keeping my back foot over the rear wheels to control my turns, just as I would on a traditional log. The length also allowed me to refine my cross-step pacing and foot placement, mimicking the experience of walking on my longboard.
From a surfer’s perspective, this board is a must-have for longboarders. But even if you’re a shortboarder, it can dramatically improve your surfing by forcing you to slow down and focus on positioning rather than just attacking the pavement. Every movement—turning, pumping, walking the nose—requires balance, flow, and weight distribution.
Even if you’re not a surfer, the Bigfoot is incredibly fun. The glide, speed, and flow are addictive, offering a perfect balance of stability and maneuverability. It provides a smooth, controlled ride while still allowing for dynamic turns and pumping.

I’m not usually one to write reviews about things because, let’s be honest, most of the time items I purchase are just pretty good. Not terrible, but not great enough to take time out of my busy schedule to write a review. This couldn’t be further from the truth in regards to the Bigfoot deck. This. Thing. Rocks…full stop.
Steve has been very influential in my own personal surfskate journey. He’s helped me choose the best decks, wheels, and trucks, and has also helped me learn to pump along with so much more. With that being said it was a no brainer that I start riding longer boards after he posted his first longboard surfskate video. After all, he’s never steered me wrong in the past plus it makes sense since I ride longboards when I surf. Since that time almost two years ago I’ve tried numerous different longboard decks and found a few that were “pretty good”. Majority of them seemed to be lacking something that I just couldn’t quite put my finger on. After watching Steve’s video in which he went through all the specs on the Bigfoot, it dawned on me. Those decks were not designed from the ground up as a surfskate deck, unlike the Bigfoot. You can tell that it has been designed specifically as a longboard surfskate deck. That’s what sets it apart and what makes it so outstanding.
As soon as I stepped on the board, it felt like I had been riding it for months. Riding it felt so natural, so intuitive. There was literally no time needed adjusting to it because everything had already been so well thought out. This also makes the board feel and ride like one shorter than it’s 50” length while still maintaining the ability to do things you would normally do on a longboard, i.e. cross stepping, nose riding, etc.
I could go on and on about all the little things that make this deck, hands down the best longboard surfskate deck but I’m running short on time and you’re probably running short on attention reading this.
This deck is in a class of its own. It has no equals. Do yourself a favor and grab one. It will not only change how you look at riding longer decks but how you approach surfskating in general as well. Strong work, Steve. You really outdid yourself with this one. Can’t wait for the 57” version

This review is coming from someone who is 135 lbs, 5’3” and still a beginner. I also own a carver triton, and tyler 777 with cx trucks, and a Knox Quill with C7 trucks
When I first heard about this board, I was thinking that a 50inch board would be way too much. That I would have trouble pumping would feel sluggish. Once I watched some of the videos, I was convinced that I had to try it. I got the CX model. This board is simply comfortable to ride on. Suuuuper forgiving too. I have tons of room and always feel stable. Always a relaxing ride but also really addicting. I’ve been riding this to the mailbox in the entrance of my subdivision every chance I get. I really like the setup as it is and will only make changes just to explore; will be trying the CX with rail adapter.
If you’re a beginner and feel intimidated by the size…don’t. It’s a board that is very easy to learn on. You’ll feel safe and stable and will quickly build confidence to start cross stepping or even move around on the board. This may even be the only one you want to own! It’s a must-have!!

This board handles like the smoothest <8 ft board single fin ON land. I have mine setup with both cx and c2 trucks with 80a riptide bushings. (With this bushing combo, you don't need the rail adapter . With how soft these are, lean and turning is easy). Much like Steve, I carve up my local college campus with tight turns, hang tens, and footwork. I had a long board surfskate I made from an ebay deck, but this by far is crafted for the perfect on land surf replicating experience. This not only allows a greater experience, but a whole new world and opportunity for growth in surfskating. Thank you guys for everything!

I purchased a Complete Surfskate with Waterborne Surf & Rail Adapters from Japan. It arrived 13 days after the shipping date. The board’s shape and design are outstanding, and since all the Waterborne adapter bushings have been replaced with Riptide, it has a very gorgeous appearance. I tried cross-stepping for the first time at a local small bank and a spot with a gentle slope. Perhaps because the board is long, after about 30 minutes of practice, I was able to ride it fairly well. I’m delighted to have more variations in the fun of surfskating. Since I have CX4 trucks, I plan to compare the rides sometime soon. Thank you also for the bonus stickers and tools.

Best riding board I’ve tried. Right of the bat my 14 year old started pumping down the street and I’m already feeling fairly comfortable on it.

Love the board. My kids love riding double on it with me. I went wiht the waterborne adapters and waterborne TKPs. I definitely the best long board that I ever ridden. I am looking forward to following baby steps in cross stepping video. I was originally going wait for next size board. Now that there no more boards coming out, I just ordered a 2nd bigfoot. I will try synergy trucks on the second board.
